I chose the two different images because the two color schemes are very different while still having a common object (a tree). The first photo is a grey and sad scene of a destroyed house after a hurricane with a damaged tree. The second image is lively and colorful forest scene. The contrast in colors helps show the change from sad to happy. Showing a gloomy and dead tree and then a very lively and colorful tree also helps to signify the change of sad and happy.
